Never seen one in person, but the plaid is a definite selling feature, just the kind of weird that does it for me. even though v6 is only my third favourite six.

more important than the plaid valve covers is the fact that there were V6 engines from 305 to 478 cubic inches of displacement. and that there was a V12 based on these engines.

Counterpoint: it’s a 478 cubic inch V6, it’s the coolest 6 ever, despite being a V6.
Also, it was a 6 throw crank so it didn’t need a balancer.

It produced 250 hp (186 kW) net SAE horsepower. Torque was 585 lbft (793 Nm).
Lowest horsepower per unit displacement ever, and from what I understand, some are still running strong in industrial applications.
